Bansi Khatri

Studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad. He has
participated in numerous group shows and solo shows since 1983. Further, he has participated in a group
show held by the Bombay Art Society in 1983. He has held a solo show at the Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur
in 2013. He has also been a jury member of Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy Annual Competition for years
2011, 13, 15. He has received several awards over the course of time. Few of them are, Avantika Group of
Arts (National Level) in 1995, 42th Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy in Painting in 2002. Further he has also
been awarded two fellowships both by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy on junior level in 1999 and on senior level in 2013.

He lives and works in Ahmedabad.
