Malabika Barman

Malabika Barman is an Indian Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1985, Kolkata. She has completed her B.A in Bengali Literature, her P.G in Appreciation of Indian Art from Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata. She further got her B.F.A. in Graphic design and Print Making from Visva Bharti University, Santiniketan, West Bengal and M.V.A. in Graphic Art and Print Making from M. S. University, Vadodara, Gujarat.

Her work is hugely inspired by the current conditions or the world around us. The nature and the effects of urbanisation to it. Her artwork shows how the human nature and greed affects the natural environment and its effects on the loss of species and their natural habitat.

She lives and works in Vadodadra.
