Samir Mondal

Born in 1952 in Balti, West Bengal. He has completed his study in 1975 from Government College of Arts, Kolkata. He has held many solo exhibitions since 1982, including: 2012 'Wishes', Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, 2008 Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2007 Ki Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, also in New Delhi, West Bengal. He has participated in many group shows including:2011 'Melange', The Harrington Street Arts Centre, Kolkata, 2010 'A. SYCO', The Viewing Room, Mumbai,2010 'Black is Beautiful', India Fine Art, Mumbai,2010 'Figures in Sculptures and Paintings', Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai, Academy of Fine, Art (NGMA), Mumbai, 'Self Portrait', National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), 'Colors on Canvas', Dubai, Pao Art Gallery, Hong Kong.
